LOGIC Services was started in 1997 with a different kind of business model: to save businesses money. Founders, Gene Pryor and Dana Caverly had spent many years in leadership in the transportation logistics industry and decided they would build a non-asset based 3PL. Unlike other transportation management consultants, they didn’t want their clients to be burdened with extra costs that stunt their business growth.
Gene and Dana brought years of experience into LOGIC as transportation management consultants for companies like Herman Miller, Steelcase, Spartan Stores, and Family Christian Stores.
A family business, Chase Pryor joined the business as an intern in college and worked in leadership alongside Gene. Cindy Pryor directs the financial operations of the company and works with our CPA.
Today, the team of transportation management consultants work together to understand their clients’ businesses so they can serve them better.

Our Transportation Management Consultants
Founder & Managing Director
Gene has been in the industry for over 50 years. He has extensive senior management experience leading companies in a rapidly changing environment including acquisitions, start-ups, and turnarounds. He has a proven track record of positive financial performance and leadership.
Director of Operations & Marketing
Chase joined LOGIC in 2019 and now heads operations and marketing for the company. Chase also built the internal customer support team for LOGIC. He works with clients to expand their relationship with LOGIC. He continues to learn from Gene on how the company functions and serves clients needs.
After retiring from her work with the State of Michigan, Cindy joined LOGIC full-time to direct financial operations.
Customer Service Representative / Senior Agent for Lakeshore
Kate brings 20+ years of transportation management experience to her role. She heads up the customer service team as well as client development.
Lowell has worked in the industry for over 40 years and joined LOGIC in 2008. Lowell is certified in international document preparation, USMCA, and CAFTA through LPA Trade Consulting.

Co-founder & Former COO
Dana started LOGIC Services alongside Gene Pryor in 1997. After working in the industry over 50 years, Dana is now semi-retired and continues to maintain key account responsibilities.
Advisor / Consultant
After 30 years in the office furniture industry, Eric started his own consulting practice in marketing and supply chain/ transportation management. He worked with Gene over the years on numerous joint projects which made a natural connection between LOGIC and Eric.
Director of Customer Care / Certified Agent
Sue developed her own clientele. In addition, she was active women in business networking groups. On top of this Sue worked with LOGIC’s customer care group providing assistance to customers with any transportation issues or questions.
Director of Marketing / Business Development
Phil developed a foundation for LOGIC’s marketing and business develop plan alongside Gene Pryor. This included promotional material, proposals, and website development. Phil was also an ambassador to The Grand Rapids Chamber, The Economics Club, The Right Place and affiliated programs.
